Year in Review of 2008 Examination Candidates Available

The Commission on Paraoptometric Certification (CPC) recently released the 2008 Year in Review report which details a full analysis of examination results and demographics. Graphs and charts showing a complete breakdown of the number of candidates by state or province, certification examination level and pass/fail status are contained in the report. Candidate breakdown is also shown by employment setting, education level, experience and age. Areas of subject matter are listed and level of knowledge is graphed for each level exam. Finally, a monthly listing of the number of candidates for each examination by pass/fail rate is reported.

Information on the background of the CPC as well as a program overview is also included. The report is available in a PDF format or by request from the CPC office by contacting 800-365-2219 ext. 4210.
