Institutional Eye Care is seeking one or more optometrists to work as part-time subcontractors in Orofino and Pocatello Women’s Facility, to provide routine eye exams. Scheduling is extremely flexible to accommodate most schedules. Each facility is fully equipped, so there is no need to transport equipment back and forth.
Minimum payment guaranteed per visit.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to fill their schedule with a few extra days per month(Usually 1-2 per month), such as new graduates, semi-retirees, or anyone looking to add supplemental income from a part time position. This position in no way competes with any private practice obligations to patients, as all patients are seen on-site at the facilities.

Looking for a career minded optometrist to join my practice. This optometrist to begin as an associate and transition to a partner or even take over one of the practices completely. I am the owner of two practices, Lakeland Eye Clinic, and Kellogg Vision Center, which have been in business for 20 and 30 years, respectively. Both practices offer a mix of medical and routine eye care and are fully equipped, including visual field, OCT, and fundus camera.
Current work days are Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm, allowing for a good balance of work and family. Normal patient load for one day includes 15-20 examinations. There is competitive base compensation ($120,000) with bonuses for production, paid time off, paid continuing education, license, and malpractice insurance.
